Retail EAS Executive Karen Lahr Joins USS Corporation as National Account Manager - 16 Oct 2006
USS Corporation continues to expand its national sales support with experienced Retail Loss Prevention talent.
Universal Surveillance Systems Corporation (USS), a leading supplier of EAS and CCTV Loss Prevention Solutions, announced today that Karen Lahr has joined the company as National Account Manager, and will be leading its sales and support efforts for the Western Area.
“Ms. Lahr’s seventeen years in retail operations brings extensive industry knowledge and experience to USS, and will contribute greatly to our ability to develop innovative products to better meet the needs of the loss prevention community,” said Adel Sayegh, President and CEO of Universal Surveillance Systems. “We are committed to bringing in talented loss prevention personnel and are very pleased to add Karen Lahr’s experience and reputation to our growing sales team.”
Ms. Lahr will provide a senior leadership role and enhance Universal’s ability to provide customized loss prevention solutions to the retail industry. She will concentrate her efforts on west headquartered national and regional retailers and will be based in California.
Karen began her career in the retail business in 1980 and has served on the retail side as District Manager for both Ann Taylor Corp. and more recently with Pottery Barn. Prior to joining Ann Taylor Corp. Ms. Lahr was with Hub Distributing from 1997 through 2004. She started as Store Manager and rose to District and Regional Manager prior to her departure. Ms. Lahr attended Saddleback College in Mission Viejo, California where she studied Business Administration.
