StopORC Webinar on December 19th to Feature Dennis Dansak Covering “Law Enforcement’s Involvement in ORC Investigations”
Rancho Cucamonga, CA – December 17, 2013 –– StopORC has announced that their December webinar will feature Dennis Dansak, corporate manager of the organized retail crime division at the Kroger Co., who will cover “Law Enforcement’s Involvement in ORC Investigations.” Scheduled for Thursday, December 19th at 12 pm PST, the free StopORC Webinar is open to qualified professionals involved in combating Organized Retail Crime (ORC). Dansak oversees ORC prevention and investigation for the 18 companies under the Kroger banner where he directs the ORC cases and network of full-time ORC investigators across the United States. Prior to his position with The Kroger Co., Dansak spent four years in the District Attorney’s Office in Pittsburgh, PA, and 29 years in the FBI in a number of positions including special agent in the Counter-Terrorism Command Center; supervisor for the Special Operations Unit; and Supervisory Special Agent for multi-state/multi-jurisdictional task forces investigating organized groups involved in major thefts.
Having earned a B.A. in Pre-Law from West Virginia University and an M.A. in International Law from the University of Pittsburgh, Dansak is a member of the NRF’s Joint ORC Task Force; NRF’s Legislative Committee; StopORC Advisory Council and FMI’s Legislative Committee. In addition, he has published numerous ORC articles in law enforcement and retail journals.
