Local Company Continues Crusade Against Organized Retail Crime
Universal Surveillance Systems Invited to Address IEORCA Local Anti-Crime Association
Rancho Cucamonga, CA – August 21, 2013 – Universal Surveillance Systems LLC (USS), a Rancho Cucamonga-based surveillance technology company, will address the August 22 meeting of the Inland Empire Organized Retail Crime Association (IEORCA) to discuss the application of the latest technology in combatting organized retail crime (ORC). Comprised of retailers, law enforcement and other leaders engaged in preventing ORC, IEORCA serves as a forum for collaboration on stopping the $40 billion a year loss to retailers and taxing authorities that helps fund crime syndicates and terrorism.
“Organized retail crime is a growing menace to our economy and society,” said USS President and Founder Adel Sayegh. “USS supports the efforts of IEORCA and its sister organizations around the country that are joining together for a real solution.”
USS has been in the forefront of combatting ORC by hosting free monthly StopORC Webinars to better equip those engaged in combatting ORC. Featuring subject matter experts, the webinars cover current topics such as ORC trends, theft methods, prevention techniques, investigations, legislation, and how to work with law enforcement. In addition, USS also created the StopORC website at www.stoporc.org to provide a comprehensive ORC information resource.
More information about StopORC is available on their website at www.stoporc.org or by calling 1-800-488-9097.
