About The Job
We are seeking a highly skilled individual to execute design, construction and maintenance of company web pages, including graphics, animation and functionality; perform other web related tasks; and provide graphics support for other marketing projects such as advertisements, brochures, newsletters, etc. This is a full-time position located at our global headquarters in Rancho Cucamonga, CA.
Knowledge/Skills/Experience
- 5+ years demonstrable experience in web design and development, UI tier design and technologies such as HTML5, XML, iQuery, DHTML, CSS, ASP.NET, JavaScript, SQL, and Flex
- A passion to deliver sizzling, eye-catching designs and layouts with an excellent eye for color, composition and typography
- Experience with and excellent understanding of optimal user interface design methodologies
- Experience with Dreamweaver
- Experience with CSS-based table-less page layouts
- Advanced knowledge of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) techniques for web performance and marketing
- Experience setting up financial transactions on a website
- Experience in graphic design using Adobe Creative Suites
- Experience utilizing web analytics and metrics
- Understanding of customer priorities, desire to strive to exceed expectations and ability to think outside the box
- Ability to contribute hands-on to the creative process of web sites, web based application development and marketing materials design
- Ability to troubleshoot web problems and resolve them quickly
- Flexible attitude with proven experience working in a small team
- Committed to owning projects and driving them to successful completion on time

- Roles and Responsibilities
- Design, construct, modify and maintain company websites to company specifications (not responsible for writing word content)
- Maintain continual SEO optimization of company websites utilizing evolving SEO techniques and analytic data from third party web reporting services
- Design and implement user-driven templates, databases and interfaces for ease of use
- Develop database-driven Web interfaces for rapid, real-time information sharing
- Troubleshoot and beta-test code to ensure proper web functionality and cross browser support
- Perform regular complete testing of Web applications and system
- Monitor and issue monthly reports of USS web server and site technical performance and activity and activity of competitors by utilizing site statistics, analytic reports, transaction logs and third-party web reporting services
- Identify, troubleshoot and quickly resolve all website problems
- Plan for future website changes and enhancements by staying current with software and hardware that can improve the sites and make recommendations to management team
- Create graphics and layouts for marketing support materials including advertisements, brochures, newsletters, catalogs, logos, etc., both printed and online, as needed

Minimum requirements for this position:
- 2+ yrs experience in installation, repair or service of commercial or residential alarm; fire & burglary CCTV; satellite & cable TV; or ATM systems
- Familiarity with electronic components, diagnostic equipment (multi-meters, oscilloscopes, etc).
- A valid driver's license and clean DMV record
- Physically able to stand, kneel, squat, climb a ladder, crawl into an 18"X18" access panel to run cable, and lift up to 60 lbs with no restrictions
- Clean background check and drug screening
- Positive attitude, self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
- Employees will be interacting directly with customers, so a professional appearance, excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle difficult situations are required.
